Game systems that you own/play regularly: Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Supernintendo, used to have a PS3 but gave it away.
Favorite Nintendo 64 games: Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 3, Extreme G...

Here's the story. I think I got my first N64 system in 2002 and I loooooved it. But at some point we traded it in for a Gamecube (the one I still have now). I regretted it. This year I told my mom I wanted N64 back for Christmas, and especially Banjo Tooie. I have so many amazing memories playing that game.

So we found someone locally a couple weeks ago that was giving away their N64 with a bunch of games, most of which I didn't care for, like basketball and football games, but he also had a couple Bond games including Goldeneye. He didn't have my favorite games, though, which I've listed above. Luckily on eBay I saw someone selling both Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie together and I knew I had to buy them. Those should be coming in the mail any day. Now I just have to amass the other games...

Anyway, I think I'm gonna have a squee attack when the games finally get here. And you can expect me to fangirl about it in this community. :D

Game systems that you own/play regularly: N64, SNES, PS3, Xbox360, PSX and PSP are the ones I have at my apartment. I have an Atari 2600, Sega Genesis/CD combo, NES,
Favorite Nintendo 64 games: Goldeneye, Shadows of the Empire, Mario Kart 64.

What is unfortunate (aside from the fact that I now have two copies since being married) is that i need to unload one copy of Mario Kart 64. I have it up on ebay for 24.99, but make me an offer. I may just take it!
It's here, if you're interested.

Not a huge gamer but the N64 was a christmas present when I was like eight or something and I really adore it. Haven't played in a while but thinking because it's almost summer holidays I might get it out again :D

I really don't think they've made anything better than the N64... but I might be a little biased haha :D

On Super Mario 64. I hate cheating on video games, I always feel like I'm slighting myself or ruining the experience if I look up a walk-through on the Internet. Luckily the site I found had inaccurate information, and I had to figure out the particular star (Wet-Dry World - 8 Red Coins) on my own anyway. Yay, I'm so proud of myself.

Stressfull moments [Jan. 27th, 2008|03:37 pm]

Well, my stressfull moment was when I played Perfect Dark making level War in perfect agent.  There were 3 objectives, kill the first, the second and the third king skedar.  At the begginning, I was the first in the front with my allies, once I was near from the bridge, the ennemies were over there and we continue until I kill the first king skedar.  The second objective to achieve was less easy because some of my allies were "probably" dead during the battle, there were more ennemies but I succeded to eliminate the second king.  And finally, I found a path to avoid a bunch of skedar and before I entered in the third king skedar's room, I prepared my maulers to kill in one shot and once I opened the doors, I killed him before he shot.  (he shoots rockets and I've been killed often)

When I've done this level, it was very stressfull from the beginning to the last because I shook and I tried to finish the level quickly !!!

I have other stressful moments I would tell.

Hi there

This is a long time I didn't play on my N64, I'm busy since I came back to college last august.  I hope I'll catch the fever of the N64 soon with you, lol.
